Music for Social Change and Human Values Certificate
Music majors can earn an innovative eight-semester-hour certificate, training to teach young students stringed instruments in an orchestral setting with El Sistema-inspired techniques.

From four choirs, an orchestra, a concert band to a jazz ensemble, chamber groups, and an opera program, there鈥檚 an array of options. These ensembles perform on and off-campus, tour domestically and internationally, and participate in festivals and competitions. The opera program stages annual workshops and full productions or scenes. Ensembles are open to both music majors and non-music majors, and most require auditions.
